'Filipinas' Join Adidas
The 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup is approaching, a tournament hosted by Australia and New Zealand, which the Philippines have successfully qualified for.
Just before entering the world stage, the Philippine Football Federation (PFF) have agreed to a kit deal with Adidas for the women's side. Today, they officially signed a contract which will run until 2027.
The women's team, known as the 'Filipinas', will be competing at the World Cup for the first time ever in their 42-year history. Adidas will supply the team with match and training gear starting this February.
Along with the announcement of the deal, the Philipinne women's kits were also revealed. These are sadly straight from the teamwear catalogue, but perhaps this is down to Adidas not having time to design shirts before-hand.
