Leather Upper Available For Nike Mercurial iD Boots

It's already possible to add a leather upper to the Nike Mercurial Veloce Boots using Nike's customization service NikeiD.

In late July / early August 2015, Nike will launch the first-ever Nike Mercurial Superfly 2015 Kangaroo Leather Cleats as well as leather editions for the lower-tier models of the Nike Mercurial series (Nike Mercurial Vapor, Nike Mercurial Veloce, Nike Mercurial Victory).

Nike Mercurial Veloce iD Leather Cleats

This is a custom Nike Mercurial NikeiD Leather Soccer Cleat.

The custom Nike Mercurial Veloce Leather Soccer Boots are available in the understated main colors white and black, while the first regular Nike Mercurial Leather paint job will introduce a striking Black / Hyper Pink half-and-half boot design.

It's possible to combine the classic main color of the Nike Mercurial Leather Boots with striking colors for the Swoosh and the laces, while no further color options for the upper are available yet.

While Nike didn't announce what type of leather is used for the Nike Mercurial Veloce iD Boots, the touch area features an extra-layer of leather for superior ball control. Apart from the leather layer on the upper, the NikeiD Mercurial Veloce Cleat offers the same technologies as the synthetic version.

It's very likely that Nike will also bring the leather upper option to the custom Nike Mercurial Superfly and Nike Mercurial Vapor 10 Cleats, which allows players to design a classic colorway for the Nike Mercurial Leather Boots.
