Bayern Edited the Trefoil Logo on the Protest Banner - Releases Fans' "Dream" Shirt
- Trefoil Logo Edited: Adidas edited the Trefoil logo on the Bayern Munich protest banner before releasing a jersey with a similar design.
- Fan Collaboration: Adidas collaborated with Bayern Munich fans to create the Adidas Bayern Munich Stadium shirt in response to protests, producing it quickly in Turkey.
- Retro Collection Release: Bayern Munich launched a Retro-Stadionkollektion in collaboration with fans, featuring classic red-and-white designs and incorporating elements from the fan protest tifo.
Update: An interesting detail we just spotted is that the large Bayern Munich protest jersey banner in the stands doesn't feature the Trefoil logo. Adidas had edited it to release a jersey with a similar design.
Update: The Adidas Bayern Munich Stadium shirt was made after fan protests, directly by Adidas. Footy Headlines knows this thanks to the product codes. The shirt was created and produced quickly in August 2025, in collaboration with fans, just a few weeks after the first big banner by supporters. Adidas produced the shirt in Turkey to ensure a short delivery time. This is somewhat revolutionary in the football market, where lead times are usually no less than three months and often more than a year.
What is particularly awkward is that the fans added a Trefoil logo to their tifo, probably in cooperation with Adidas and the club.

The t-shirt was created in collaboration between Bayern, Adidas, and fans from the Südkurve.
Now, in a twist few expected, the club seems to have taken notice. Seven weeks after the protest, Bayern have launched their new Retro-Stadionkollektion, a throwback line developed “with fans from the Südkurve,” featuring red-and-white classics.
The Adidas Bayern München 25-26 stadium t-shirt is red with classic white Adidas 3 stripes and a simple white crew neck collar. It comes with the fans' favorite e.V. logo (registered club, which they have not anymore for more than 20 years...) and the Trefoil logo.
Bayern even uses the fans' protest tifo on their website for the new collection

It’s a rare moment of alignment (or, perhaps, quiet acknowledgment) between the stands and the boardroom. What started as a protest has turned into official merchandise, available for 45 euros.
Should Bayern release such a simple home kit and wear it in matches? Let us know in the comments.
