FC Bayern Munich Asks Fans About Future Kit Details
To enhance fan engagement, FC Bayern Munich today launched a survey campaign today to gauge supporter preferences for future kit designs. The new Bayern kit survey is open to club members only - invitations were sent via email this afternoon.
Footy Headlines has received screenshots of the initiative thanks to our follower and Bayern kit expert Kay. Bayern’s focus mainly lies on the crest in this survey, apparently.
Bayern Munich Asks Members in Survey About Kit Crest Details
The survey is much more detailed than previous ones. It asks fans to choose between a monochrome logo and the traditional multi-color crest, reflecting Bayern’s iconic red and blue hues. Another key question asks fans whether the crest on future kits should feature championship stars—a tradition symbolizing Bundesliga titles—or opt for a cleaner, starless look.
Bayern Munich fans have been extremely unhappy with the team's recent kits
Bayern Munich fans have been extremely unhappy with the team's recent kits, and they expressed their anger at last Sunday's Annual General Meeting. Fans especially dislike the colors used for the home kits, which actually allowed the use of red and white only - but the club has extremely stretched this rule with an extremely dark red that actually looks like black from many angles.
We do not know if fans were also asked for kit colors in the survey.
Footy Headlines has no information on which future kits this survey will have an impact on. The 25-26 kits are ready, as are the designs for the 26-27 kits. There is still a chance that the survey will be used to adjust the 26-27 kits.
The survey is accompanied by a thank-you gesture: participants are entered into a draw to win signed 2024/25 home kits or exclusive adidas outfits.
