Chelsea to NOT Announce Infinite Athlete Kit Sponsorship Deal Tomorrow

Update, Friday, September 1, 2023: According to the latest information from people close to the deal, the club will not be announcing a new partnership with Infinite Athlete tomorrow. It is looking increasingly likely that this will not happen until after the international break when the Premier League return to action. This has been revealed by football sponsor insider Łukasz Bączek (@Lu_Class_).

Update 28 August 2023: The wait seems to be over. Chelsea are reportedly set to announce a £40m per season sponsorship deal with Infinite Athlete, according to Football London. The Premier League authorities have approved the deal.

Update: The player images for Infinite Athlete are already prepared by Chelsea and the Premier League (the deal has not been approved yet). This could be seen in the latest episode of Transfer Update (German Sky Sports), featuring Chelsea's Trevoh Chalobah (another Bayern target) and legendary German transfer expert @Plettigoal (Florian Plettenberg).

Update: The Premier League authorities are still reviewing Chelsea's deal with Infinite Athlete, according to sports finance expert Łukasz Bączek (@Lu_Class_). Chelsea are in search of a sponsor to match their £40m partnership with Three.

As per Matt Law, it is uncertain whether the deal will be finalized in time for the upcoming Liverpool game. The club's approach has been centered on securing the right deal rather than rushing for an agreement before their first Premier League match.

Just a day earlier, it was announced that sports technology startup Tempus Ex Machina, known for its machine learning-powered FusionFeed technology, had acquired Biocore, an injury analytics firm, and was rebranding as Infinite Athlete.

The startup aims to revolutionize sports technology by creating an "operating system for sport" that benefits fans, athletes, and the broader industry. The technology merger will allow for the automatic generation of personalized highlights and clips through FusionFeed. Partners include Chelsea FC, San Francisco 49ers, and Pac-12 college sports conference.
