Adidas Create Modified Juventus Kit to Align with UEFA Regulations
Adidas had to take steps to ensure that Juventus' 2022-23 third jersey aligns with UEFA regulations. This has been spotted by our Italian follower Giovanni.
Juventus 22-23 Third Kit - UEFA Version
During Thursday night's match away against Sevilla, there were two significant modifications to the team's third pink jersey. Apart from incorporating a free space on the back to accommodate the player numbers, the overall design has undergone a transformation. The texture has been centered, resulting in a symmetrical appearance.
It is sure that the plain back was added to ensure UEFA's holy free number zone, while the centered texture was probably not for UEFA reasons. Instead, Adidas created 100% bespoke jerseys by not having a pattern generically printed on the kit, but by having a custom graphic for every kit carefully placed at the center.
What is nice is that the free space on the back does not cut off the design but keeps it in its full glory.
The UEFA version of the Adidas Juventus 22-23 third kit is not available to buy but player-exclusive.
