Gremio Sold 1,500 Luis Suarez Kits in Two Days
Gremio's signing of Luis Suarez brings a lot of enthusiasm to their fans as the club already sold 1,500 of the Uruguayan's jerseys in a short while.
The Brazilian club's decision to sign Suarez in a two-year deal in December looks to be the right decision, at least from a financial standpoint. As it was revealed by VarskySports, in just two days, Gremio already managed to sell around 1,500 of Suarez's jerseys.
Gremio sold 1,866 kits in the whole of January 2022 last year
That number is already close to surpassing the club's total sales in January 2022 which reaches 1,866.
Gremio's New Number 9: Suarez Receives Plenty of Fans Affection
The former Liverpool and Barcelona star opted to join the Brazilian club in a two-year deal after ending his contract with Nacional. Despite already being in the twilight of his career, Suarez proved he can still attract tons of affection.
The striker was introduced to the Gremio fans on Wednesday and he received a warm welcome.

Suarez will be wearing the number 9 jersey in Gremio, which is pretty much his favorite number throughout his career. The Clube de Todos' sporting apparel is made and sponsored by an English sports manufacturer, Umbro.
