Hideous Taped Kit Font: Lorient 22-23 Tattoo Kit Released
We have kit news from the Ligue 1 as British brand Umbro and French club Lorient released a special shirt - introducing the FC Lorient 2022-2023 Tattoo jersey.
The FC Lorient Tattoo jersey was worn once, in the 0-3 Ligue 1 loss vs Montpellier. Ligue 1 required the club to have a space on the back for the kit font - Umbro and the club came up with a large taped square with the numbers on it.
FC Lorient are the third Umbro club to receive a Tattoo kit - Werder Bremen and Brentford also released Tattoo shirts in cooperation with Umbro.

The Umbro FC Lorient 2022-23 Tattoo shirt was created in collaboration with Floor Wesseling from Blood In Blood Out. It sees tattoos of fans and players providing the black decoration on a white base.
White & black is combined with Lorient's orange for a great contrast. 15 examples of body art were selected as part of the British brand’s “How Deep is Your Love?” campaign - including those belonging to Enzo Le Fée, Stéphane Diarra, and Igor Silva.

"How deep is your love" is an international Umbro campaign that explores the personal stories and memories behind the tattoos of fans around the world.
450 shirts of the Lorient 22-23 Tattoo collector's jersey were available for 89 Euro. They sold out within hours, but the club announced that they are planning a second phase of sales.
