2023 J League Kit Overview - All 18 Clubs
Let's take a look at all J League 2023 kits, as all clubs have released their shirts, including Urawa Red Diamonds, Yokohama F. Marinos, Kashima Antlers and Cerezo Osaka. The season kicks off soon, on February 18.
In terms of kit maker distribution, the three big brands Puma (4), Nike (3) and Adidas (2) make up half of the league's technical suppliers. Yonex, New Balance and Mizuno are also in the mix, each outfitting two clubs.
Albirex Niigata

Introducing a vibrant look, the Adidas Albirex Niigata 2023 home jersey combines a clean orange base with navy accents such as the 3 Stripes on the shoulders and white boxed sponsor logos on the chest.
Away
The Adidas Albirex Niigata 2023 away shirt features a modern look. It is mainly white with blue dots on the front and back as well as blue 3 Stripes on the shoulders and blue piping on the white V-neck.

The Yonex Avispa Fukuoka 2023 third shirt is features a striped design in navy and grey on the front, while the sides and sleeves come in navy.
Cerezo Osaka

The Puma Cerezo Osaka 2023 home shirt uses the club's traditional pink blossom color for its base, adding navy pinstripes to the front. Alternating between each section enclosed by the stripes are subtle, intricate hexagonal graphics.
Away
Using an identical design with different colors, the Puma Cerezo Osaka 2023 away jersey combines a white base with pink detailing. The pinstripes once again appear in navy.
Gamba Osaka

Showcasing the crest in a central position, the Hummel Gamba Osaka 2023 home shirt features the club's traditional blue and black stripes, 4 blue and 3 black on the front and back. The blue stripes each contain six thin black lines, which fade into blue near the main sponsor.
Away
Predominantly white, the Hummel Gamba Osaka 2023 away shirt is based on the same template as the home kit. Instead of the stripes, a different, more jagged-looking graphic is applied in light grey to the front and back.
Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo

The Mizuno Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo 2023 home shirt features the club's classic striped look in red and black combined with white logos. Interestingly, the stripes on the back are thinner and therefore much more abundant than on the front.
Away
The Mizuno Consadole 2023 away jersey has a black base with white details and logos, including a recolored club crest. The graphic is supposed to represent a snow storm.
Third
Mainly white, the Mizuno Consadole 2023 third shirt is inspired by the local Blakiston's fish owl, the largest living species of owl. The kit recreates the majestic wings of this large creature in light grey.
Kashima Antlers

The Nike Antlers 2023 home jersey has vertical stripes for the first time in history. The deep red fabric, which is the club color, uses deep tone stripes and partially digital dot patterns to create a gradation and express a modern design.
Away
The Nike Antlers 2023 away jersey "expresses infinite possibilities and dignity, based on the white color called Victory White, which is often worn in important matches for the club".
Kashiwa Reysol

The Yonex Kashiwa Reysol 2023 home shirt has a traditional solid yellow base combined with mostly black logos.
Away
The Yonex Kashiwa Reysol 2023 away shirt is about as simple as it gets, featuring a plain white base with various sponsor logos adding color.

The Mizuno Nagoya Grampus 2023 home shirt is of course mainly red, using the club's intitials ('NG') in a slanted, repeating fashion all over the kit. In fact, the design of these initials seems to come from the special 30th anniversary crest displayed for a special jersey released last year.

The Mizuno Nagoya Grampus 2023 away jersey has the same design as the home option, using a white base with light grey initials all over the kit. The polo collar comes in yellow with a small amount of orange, while the sleeve ends are grey and the side stripes red.
Kyoto Sanga

Staying true to the club's main color, the Kyoto Sanga 2023 home shirt has a purple base but with a special tweak, which is having the club's emblem placed on the chest. The phoenix logo makes for a strong element, especially with the two-tone color that also represents the city of Kyoto.
Away
The white Kyoto Sanga 2023 away shirt also has the team's phoenix emblem placed on the chest while most other details are purple.
Sagan Tosu

The NB Sagan Tosu 2023 home jersey is light blue with abstract pink graphics forming stripes on the torso and sleeves. The v neck collar uses both of these main colours while all sponsor logos are white.
Away
The New Balance Sagan Tosu 2023 away jersey is white and once again uses abstract pink graphics, this time enlarged and printed all over the torso and sleeves with the back left white.
Sanfrecce Hiroshima

The Nike Sanfrecce Hiroshima 2023 home football shirt introduces a bold design in two shades of purple, with a pattern that is inspired by various past designs such as the checkers of the 2012 kit and the stripes of 2013 and 2015.
Away
The Nike Sanfrecce Hiroshima 2023 away football shirt is predominantly white with purple accents on the collar, under the sleeves and on the side hem, as well as a golden-metallic Swoosh on the right chest.
Shonan Bellmare

Mainly green, the Penalty Shonan Bellmare 2023 home shirt is a call-back to some of the 1990's kits, where the club used diamond-shaped designs. In fact, Shonan Bellmare are celebrating 30 years since their first J League season in 1993.
Away
The Penalty Shonan Bellmare 2023 away jersey also employs a diamond graphic, however at a much smaller scale than on the home kit. Gold serves as the base color with black being used for the logos and other details.
FC Tokyo

As expected, the New Balance FC Tokyo 2023 home shirt features classic blue and red vertical stripes on the front, the same width as last year's. The logos come in white, while the club crest sits on a red stripe. The back of the shirt comes insolid blue, with the phrase "You'll never walk alone" printed near the back of the collar. The collar itself is a polo style one in blue with red piping, creating a clean look.
Away
Although perhaps not visible at first glance, the New Balance FC Tokyo 2023 away jersey uses almost the same design as the home kit, coloring all the stripes white. The polo collar is replaced by a V-neck in blue and red, with the same colors being applied to the sleeve ends.
Urawa Red Diamonds

The Nike Urawa Red Diamonds 2023 jersey is red with black shoulders and sleeves, highlighting the Nike Dri-Fit ADV template. A triangular pattern made up of various lines covers the torso, the same design previously seen on Frankfurt's and Kaizer Chiefs' shirts.
Away
The Nike Urawa Red Diamonds 2023 away jersey is sky blue with a royal collar and underarm mesh sections. It has the same logo placement as the first, with another slightly unusual feature, a "we are Reds" slogan above the hem on the front.
Vissel Kobe

The Asics Vissel Kobe 2023 home shirt presents an elegant design in crimson, featuring diagonal black lines that get thinner towards the top.
Away

The Adidas Yokohama F. Marinos 2023 home shirt introduces a bold design with a tricolor center stripe as the main attraction. Officially, the tricolor stripe is called "Tricolore Bandera".

The Adidas Yokohama F. Marinos 2023 away jersey brings a very clean design in white and black, taking inspiration from the 2003 and 2004 uniforms. On closer inspection, it becomes obvious that the Yokohama F-Marinos 2023 away shirt is based on the Adidas Tiro 23 Competition Match jersey.
