Brentford Carry Over Away Kit to 2023-24 Season
English Premier League team Brentford Football Club are not going to release a new away shirt for the 2023-2024 season.
Brentford 22-23 Kit Line-Up
Brentford will use their new Umbro away kit not only for the 2022-2023 season but also for the 2023-2024 season - it is therefore called "Brentford 22-24 Away Shirt". This was already announced with the launch of the shirt some weeks ago.
Brentford did already carry over their 21-22 home kit to 22-23
There could be some different sponsors on the Brentford 23-24 away kit, as explained by the club: "Fans should note that, based on current sponsor contracts and possible regulatory changes, the sponsors on the kit may be subject to change for season 2023-24".
Indeed, Brentford did already carry over their 21-22 home kit for the 22-23 season. This decision was made in November lat year.
Jon Varney, Chief Executive of Brentford FC, said: "We took the unusual decision last season to roll our home kit over for two seasons, offering more value to our fans and helping to reduce our carbon impact by extending the kit’s lifespan. The feedback from our supporters, and beyond, was overwhelmingly positive so we’ve decided to take the same approach for the new second kit.
We know we have more to do to step up our sustainability efforts across the Club but feel that this simple step will encourage others to think differently and consider other ways to reduce their own impact on the planet."
The third kit is still changed every season
For the 2023-2024 season, Brentford are set to release a new home kit as well as a new third kit. The third jersey is still changed every season.
