No More Qatar Airways - Boca Juniors to Get New Main Shirt Sponsor
Boca Juniors are to part ways with shirt sponsors Qatar Airways when their deal expires later this year. The club's search for a new sponsor is already underway according to Argentinian journalist and Boca correspondent Rincón Bostero.
Boca Juniors to Get New Main Sponsor
Boca Juniors have been sponsored by the airline since the 18-19 season and the deal has earned them about €6 million per year. The club will be be hoping that the new deal will be of equal or greater value. Qatar Airways logo appeared on the last Nike shirts made for Boca and the first by Adidas. They are rumoured to be taking ver the void that will be left on PSG's shirts after the end of the current season in a much more expensive partnership, which perhaps contributed to their decision not to renew with Boca.
Every Boca kit to carry the Qatar Airways logo.
As well as being the biggest club in Argentina, Boca Juniors iconic kit has a design almost tailor made to draw attention to the sponsor logo, as it sits within the signature yellow band. They should not have too much difficulty in finding a new suitor, although no names have been mentioned so far.
Mock-up imagining the return of a classic sponsor.
Boca supporters and football shirt fans alike would no doubt be happy to see Quilmes return to their kits, although it's unlikely that we will see that happen, no matter how good it would look.
