Aston Villa Sign Castore Kit Deal

Aston Villa have today announced a multi-year deal with Castore to become the club's official kit supplier, confirming our exclusive from a while back.

This announcement doesn't really come as a surprise at all, especially considering that all of Villa's 22-23 kits by Castore already got leaked.

Aston Villa leave Kappa after the conclusion of a three-year deal signed in the summer of 2019. They join Newcastle and Wolves to become Castore's third team in the Premier League. In other news, Castore recently announced a deal with La Liga giants Sevilla, and will unveil more new teams over the summer.

Apart from it being a "multi-year partnership", not much as officially revealed about the new Castore x Aston Villa deal. For comparision, Newcastle's deal with the company was signed for a total of six years, so it's quite possible that this deal has a longer duration than the Kappa one's three years.Check out the full Aston Villa Kit History over on Football Kit Archive

According to the official posting, the Castore Aston Villa 22-23 home kit will be unveiled in July, during the club's pre-season tour to Australia.

Pascal Lafitte, Director of Partnerships at Castore, said: “Aston Villa is the perfect fit for Castore due to their growth ambitions and relentless desire to innovate, on the pitch and with their partners, and we are beyond excited to be partnering with the club."
Nicola Ibbetson, Chief Commercial Officer at Aston Villa, said: “This is a landmark partnership for the Club, joining with an exciting British brand who understand our ambition and strategy."

It will definitely be an interesting summer ahead in terms of brand switches with several deals set to expire in the Premier League alone.
