This is the new Hummel Brøndby IF 'Per Nielsen Lengend' special shirt.
The new special shirt from Brøndby IF pays tribute to one of the club's greats, Per Nielsen. He spent his entire career playing for the club from 1993-2008, raking up 547 matches for the Blue and Yellows and winning five championships.
The jersey is yellow with half-blue arms and Hummel chevron. The collar of the shirt has a darker shade of blue with the number 547, Nielsen's matches played, and his name on the collar insert.
Nielsen is still part of Brøndby IF, taking charge of the club’s women’s team, which is at the top of the women league.
The Hummel Brøndby IF special jersey for Per Nielsen is inspired by the shirts that he and his teammates were wearing when they defeated Liverpool 1-0 at Anfield a little over 25 years ago during the 2nd leg of the 1995 UEFA Cup.
