New Balance To Release 4 Kits For Each Club From Next Season?

New Balance yesterday announced that they extended their jersey deal with French side LOSC Lille. Together with the announcement, it was also revealed that New Balance will start releasing four kits for them each season. Does this mean that more New Balance-sponsored teams will get an additional kit from 2021?

Nike was the first major brand to release fourth kits for their teams, with the PSG deal the prime example of a club launching four kits each season.

No Info On Further New Balance Fourth Kits Yet

New Balance currently sponsors the likes of Athletic Club Bilbao, Standard Liège, FC Porto and Dynamo Kiev. However, until now, the brand did not release a fourth kit for any of their teams, and did also not do so when sponsoring Celtic and Liverpool.

The new deal with the now included fourth kit for Lille makes it rather likely that New Balance will also launch a fourth kit for AS Roma, even though there is no info about that. It seems also possible that Athletic Bilbao and Porto will get a fourth kit, but again there is no info about it so far.

Roma's new contract could very well also include a fourth kit

In fact, with Roma just having signed their deal, it would be logical for the contract to also include a fourth kit.

Stay tuned as we expect more about New Balance's kits for the 2021-2022 season to become available in the coming weeks.
