PSG to Re-Release Iconic 2001-02 Ronaldinho Kit
Paris Saint-Germain is set to reissue one of their most iconic kits—the 2001-02 home jersey famously worn by Ronaldinho during his debut season in Europe. This news comes from PSG kit experts La Source Parisienne (@lasource75006), hot on the heels of the successful re-release of its "Louis Vuitton" 2006-07 jersey.
In-House PSG 2001-02 Home Kit
The Paris Saint-Germain 2001-02 kit, originally made by Nike, marked Ronaldinho’s arrival from Grêmio, signaling the start of his meteoric rise in European football. As a PSG player, Ronaldinho’s skill and flair captivated fans worldwide, making this jersey a true piece of football history.
The remake will be handled in-house by PSG and, notably, will not feature the original Nike logo. The club’s version is expected to release soon.
Interestingly, Nike also has plans to re-release a PSG kit in the second half of 2025 with the swoosh logo included.
What remains unclear is whether PSG’s edition will feature Ronaldinho’s iconic name and number printing.
