Puma, Designers Hit Out At Nike for Copying Idea for Jadon Sancho Signature Boots

Puma and Poet have made fun of Nike for stealing their idea for the design of Jadon Sancho's first-ever signature boots, which were unveiled this morning.

Released as a collaboration between Puma, Poet, Yinka and Pro-Direct Soccer, the Puma Future London City Pack boots featured a bold "No Ball Games" writing on the heel, not unlike that can be seen on the new Sancho boots, although it's on the inside here.

Yinka tweeted pictures of the two boots with the caption "It’s the lack of creativity for me", a Tweet that was retweeted by Poet.

Poet later shared a short clip mocking the design process at Nike, which was then shared by Puma with the caption "Ctrl+C Ctrl+V @poetscorneruk 😅". Puma quickly deleted this Tweet and made a simple retweet instead.

While we agree that the part is similar, albeit with a much different execution, the rest of the boots is entirely different.

But what do you think? Let's hear your thoughts in the comments below.
