LEAKED: Ligue 1 Teams to Have 3 Different Fonts to Choose From Next Season
Up until now, all teams in France's top two divisions used a league-wide font with minimal customization options.
In spite of the current trend, which has seen La Liga and Serie A introducing global fonts recently, this is going to change next season as per our good friend @lasource75006.

From the start of the 2020-21 season, teams in France's top three divisions (Ligue 1, Ligue 2 and Championnat National) will have the choice of three different, league-designed fonts.
Everything indicates that the previous Ligue 1 font design, which has been in use for a very long time, will not be among the options.
Teams have been asked by the league to submit their choice before the start of the campaign - and they will have to use the selected style throughout the season.
Albeit not confirmed, we expect the current model remain in place - unlike in the Premier League, where there are only a handful of color options, teams in France have been free to choose custom colors for the main part and border of the font. It's also been possible for teams to add a subtle pattern inside the font, as seen with PSG recently, for example.
There are no pictures of the new Ligue 1 2020-21 font yet, but we'll update this post as soon as we have more info and details.
