2 Different Kits? Puma Heavily Edits Olympique Marseille Kit Launch Pictures

  • Kit Launch: Olympique Marseille and Puma released their 2020-21 home and away kits on Saturday, which have been popular among fans.
  • Image Editing: Puma heavily edited the launch pictures of the away kit, making it appear turquoise rather than its actual navy color and altering its contrasts.
  • Color Discrepancy: The edited launch images made the away kit look significantly different, with one expert noting it could resemble a third kit, while official store photos showcase the true colors.

On Saturday, French club OM and Puma released the new Olympique Marseille 20-21 home and away shirts. The kits have been very popular among fans - now football kit expert Phil Delves made people aware that there are basically "two" versions of the kit.

Puma Heavily Edited Launch Pictures of Olympique Marseille 20-21 Away Kit

Puma put many different filters on the launch pictures of the new Marseille 2020-21 away kit. The result is that the jersey looks much turquoise than the actual navy kit, and that the kit's contrasts are wrong.

Phil Delves described it that he "might as well be looking at an away and third kit".

The club itself, did not edit the images in such way. Therefore, the official store pics show the actual colors, and a leaked launch pic also comes with the correct colors.

The new Olympique Marseille 2020-2021 kits are available since Saturday June 13. The replica retails at 90 Euro, the authentic at 120 Euro.
