Fan-Designed Betis 19-20 Special Kit Released - To Be Worn This Weekend

Update: Betis has released a first official look at the fan-designed special '#HéroesBéticos' kit. It's available to buy for €60 and will be worn in the game away against Celta Vigo tomorrow.

Update: Already a few days ago, Betis announced the winner of the special kit vote it had held earlier this month.

The winning design (#3) was created by Antonio J. Pérez (@IKastellanos). It will now be produced by Kappa and will be worn in one of the remaining La liga games this season. Betis will play the derby against Sevilla in what will be La Liga's first match after the coronavirus break, possibly on June 11.

The Kappa Betis 2019-20 special football shirt is mainly green with a subtle graphic print on the front and back. Kappa's trademark Omini are present on the sleeves.

A classic club crest is used. It not only appears on the left chest of the Kappa Betis 2019-20 special shirt but also on the upper back.

Although the concept was created on the base of an old 2017-18 Nike template - even the typical Vaporknit texture can be seen if inspected closely - it's unlikely that Kappa will replicate these elements of the design.

Real Betis earlier tonight announced that they would wear a special kit in one of their remaining 2019-20 matches once La Liga returns.

Two days are left to vote for your favorite out of the four options, which were designed by Betis fans.

These are the four options put to vote.

Option 1 is white with a central halftone gradient in teal, which is also the color used for the sleeves, the back as well as the shorts and socks.

Option 2 is mainly white with a diagonal paintbrush stripe design - a look that reminds us a bit of the Barcelona 4th kit from this season.

Option 3 is green with a subtle pattern on the front, while the sleeves have a raglan cut and feature Kappa's trademark Omini running down the sleeves.

The fourth kit is white with a pinstripe design. It also has the iconic Omini design on the sleeves.
