Bayern was founded on 27 February 1900 by eleven players, led by Franz John. In 2025, Bayern München celebrates its 125-year anniversary.

The Adidas Bayern München 2025 125-year anniversary football shirt combines a dark red base with gold logos. Officially, the colors are Active Maroon / Dark Football Gold.

On the left chest is a special shielded crest with laurel wreath details. Adidas uses its trefoil logo. On the right hem is a special jog tag with the lettering "125 Jahre FCB - Gegründet am 27. Februar 1900" (125 years of FCB - Founded on February 27, 1900).

An all-over pattern with historic club crest rounds covers the shirt, adding another anniversary touch.

The style of the crest and overall shirt of the Bayern 125-year anniversary kit also takes inspiration from the foundation charter, but we do not know how exactly.

Bayern Munich released a 120-year anniversary kit in 2020, four years ago. The club did not release a 100-year anniversary kit in 2000 but had a very classic kit in the 2000-01 season when they won the Champions League.
