AS Roma Supplies Kit Initiative With Massive Delivery
It is Christmas soon. With it, many people give something to those who are not as privileged as themselves or even in need. Now a combined action of Italian Serie A club AS Roma and social football kit initiative "Kit it Out" has earned the praise of people on social media.
It is 1,390 miles from Liverpool to Rome, its 22 hours to drive and 17 days to walk so when we reached out to @ASRomaEN for kits we didn’t expect much back, BUT they reached out back, this is solidarity, this is @ASRomaEN other teams take note this is what class looks like 🇮🇹🔥👕 pic.twitter.com/Of86c3GfAH

Kit it Out is an initiative from the UK that is aiming to provide football kits that are no longer used and give them a new life. We will pass them on to someone who’s circumstances mean they may not be able to afford a kit.
What a story, thank you so much to @ASRomaEN absolutely incredible 🤯👏❤️🔥⚽️✊👕🇮🇹🤝🤛💪🏻 pic.twitter.com/WffM4c6HzR

Kit it Out asked AS Roma, who are known for their extraordinary social media game, on Twitter if they have some old / no more used jerseys for them. Shortly after it, AS Roma said that they "would have some stuff" to send Kit it Out. However, when the delivery of AS Roma reached the initiative, it was impressive. Roma did not just send one or two jerseys but a big box with Roma football shirts.
The kit will be given out in community centres to people who might struggle to be able to afford to buy football shirts this Christmas or who have fallen on hard times. We’re proud to support the work that @Kititout1 are doing.
