FC Basel has launched a unique new special edition kit that brilliantly captures the magic and mystery of Basel's iconic Fasnacht carnival. Created in collaboration with local carnival illustrator Domo Löw, the Basel 2024-2025 Carnival kit transforms the traditional football shirt into a wearable piece of Basel's rich cultural heritage.

The Macron Basel 2024-2025 Carnival jersey maintains FCB's classic half-and-half design with rotblau (red and blue) colorway but elevates it with intricate white hand-drawn illustrations depicting famous Fasnacht characters across the lower portion of the shirt. Among the detailed carnival figures featured are "Alti Dante," "Waageclique," and "Tambourmajor" - all essential elements of Basel's famous celebration.

Oddly, this design with the differently colored sleeves would be forbidden by UEFA rules, as the shirt itself has no classic half-and-half design. It appears that the Swiss Super League allowed the design anyway.
