The Eintracht Frankfurt player squad is made up of 14 nationalities - without taking dual citizenships into account (In these cases, the flag of the national team for which the player is or was active is represented). All the flags are featured on the special "Plat Für Vielfalt" (Place for Diversity) logo.
Eintracht Frankfurt and main sponsor Indeed have long been convinced that diversity and inclusion are of central importance not only in sport but also in business life. With the CSR campaign #Place for Diversity, they are now jointly setting an example against racism and discrimination. The campaign starts on 23 November with the game Eintracht Frankfurt against VfL Wolfsburg.
"Just as Eintracht in sport is known as a pioneer of diversity, Indeed Diversity lives in the professional world. We are united in the conviction that 'diversity' is a key to success. A team of athletes benefits just as much from different strengths and characters as a company," says Frank Hensgens, Managing Director of Indeed. "Our corporate culture at Indeed is shaped by people of all kinds, who meet each other with great openness".
Kevin Trapp, goalkeeper at Eintracht Frankfurt and ambassador of the CSR campaign #Place for Diversity, underlines its importance: "I believe that in sport the cultural background of the individual is insignificant. We speak the same language, the language of football, so it doesn't matter what skin colour or religion someone has. We share a passion, we have a common goal."
