The new Nike Phantom Elite Goalkeeper Gloves boast a remarkable yet fresh design for Nike's keeper gloves - made for optimal fit, they do not come with a traditional "90° design" but with a more natural construction optimized for the keeper's hand.
Tech-wise, nothing exact has been leaked yet. However, the images of the Nike Phantom Elite Goalkeeper Gloves already give us a first look at what are the main features and innovations of them.
Unlike classic keeper gloves, the Nike Phantom Elite Goalkeeper Gloves are specially designed for a perfect, seamless fit - therefore, the whole construction is adjusted to the "natural hand" - the glove comes with a strap, but the seams are designed to reproduce natural shape of a hand.
The punch area comes with added plastic dots for increased grip and control, while the catch area appears to be very traditional.
Just as other high-end Nike keeper gloves, the new Nike Goalkeeper Phantom feature Nike ACC foam enhanced grip in all conditions. Nike ACC (All Conditions Control) technology was originally introduced for football boots and was the first time featured on soccer gloves in 2018 with the Nike Vapor Touch.
