The most important tech difference between the replica and authentic versions is the material. The authentic edition comes with Adidas' Climachill technology, while the replica edition comes with Adidas' Climalite technology. The authentic Adidas Climachill jerseys have a totally different, more plastic material than the replica version - it is a 1:1 version of the kit players wear.
Another very important tech difference is the fit - the Authentic fit is made for athletes and is slim through the shoulders and body, while the replica fit has a more leisure fit.
The third important difference is the way logos and other applications are applied. The authentic Man Utd kit comes with heat-transfer 3-Stripes on shoulders and logos.
Apart from the tech differences, there are also visual ones that make the authentic kit look better. Most importantly, the logo of the replica jersey looks much cheaper than the logo of the authentic jersey. Other differences include a badge on the lower right that marks the authentic kit as well as some text and lettering inside the collar.
