FC Bayern München Supporters Continue Protests Against Club Using Non-Traditional Kit Colors
FC Bayern Munich supporters have continued their protest against the club using non-traditional colors for the club's kits in the Bundesliga match against Dortmund.
First, the fans showed a banner of legendary player Stefan Effenberg from the 2001 Champions League final (wearing the red and white kit). After that, the fans hold up a photomontage of the club's president Uli Hoeneß wearing the mint green away kit in holidays.
When the banner with Uli Hoeneß was shown, the fans hold up a poster with the slogan "„Sowas hast im Urlaub an - nicht aufm Fußballplatz“ (Something like that you are wearing in holidays, not on the football pitch).
In November 2018, FC Bayern Munich already reacted to the fan criticism and announced that the club's home kits will feature the traditional red and white colors only in the future. The away and third jerseys, however, will still feature 'fresh' colors.
