Ajax to Recolor New Historic Logo?
As we all know, Ajax will return to the classic 1928-1990 logo from the 25-26 season. This makes us wonder if Ajax will re-color this historic logo to match the away and third kits? With that in mind, kit designer @DekuGFX_ has created a concept Ajax kit with the new monochrome Ajax logo to see how it would look.
Adidas Ajax Concept Kit - Monochrome Crest
The Adidas Ajax Amsterdam concept kit by @DekuGFX_ features a carbon blue main color with sky blue and light mint accents. The new Ajax crest has been changed to a monochrome color to match the overall look.
Changing the color of the logo to monochrome will help it to match and harmonize with other details on the shirt. However, the 'traditional' and 'iconic' character of the original crest will be lost.
As a result, Benfica recently decided to ban the monochrome crest and stick to the original crest on their kits, probably from the 26-27 season.
