Adidas Players Test 5 Different Next-Gen 2018 World Cup Prototype Boots
Adidas has taken the opportunity to supply many of their players with test boots ahead of the brand's launch of the next-generation Adidas Nemeziz and Adidas X 2018 World Cup football boots in late May 2018. The boots on show here we have seen before, but the new pictures give us a great inisight at what Adidas has in stock for the 2018 World Cup.
Laporte (Manchester City), Cedric Teuchert (Schalke 04) - Next-Gen Adidas Nemeziz 18 2018 World Cup Cleats
Possibly the biggest Adidas boot innovation of the year, the all-new Adidas X 2018 World Cup football shoes were tested by Laporte (laceless version) and Teuchert (traditional laces version). Both versions of the next-gen Adidas X boots feature all-new, completely different tech specifications, so check out all about the laceless Adidas X 18+ and the more traditional Adidas X 18.1.
Firmino (Liverpool), Diego Perotti (AS Roma), Yann Karamoh (Inter Milan) - Next-Gen Adidas Nemeziz 18 2018 World Cup Cleats
A lot of players wore the second-generation Adidas Nemeziz football shoes in training this week. Amongst them were Liverpool's Roberto Firmino, AS Roma's Diego Perotti and Inter Milan's Yann Karamoh, who all laced up in the next generation of Adidas' laceless agility cleat that seems to be very similar to the first generation.
Lionel Messi (FC Barcelona) - Next-Gen Adidas Nemeziz 18 Messi 2018 World Cup Cleats
Messi laced up in what is with reasonable certainty the next-generation Adidas Nemeziz 18 Messi football boot in training around month ago. The cleats seem to be similar but not identical to the standard next-gen Adidas Nemeziz 18, with the upper obviously different to the leaked Adidas Nemeziz 18.1 football boots.
The Adidas Predator 2018 football boot will not receive a new generation before December 2018, and there has been no player spotted wearing them yet...
