It seems to be only a matter of time until PSG midfielder Marco Verratti will officially join Nike as the Italy international has been lacing up in blackout Nike soccer cleats in the past few weeks.
Marco Verratti had been lacing up in blackout Puma evoTOUCH football boots before he switched to Nike football boots in early March. Interestingly, Puma even designed two signature evoTOUCH football boots for the Italian, while he should also headline the all-new Puma ONE soccer boot.
Verratti Laces Up In Blackout Nike Hypervenom Phantom III Boots With Swoosh on The Outsole
The upper of Marco Verratti's boots has been completely blacked-out in order to hide that he is wearing Nike Hypervenom Phantom 3 soccer cleats. However, Verratti failed to blackout the outsole of the football boots, which feature a white Swoosh.
Apart from the blackout look, Marco Verratti's soccer boots are the same as regular colorways of the Nike Hypervenom Phantom 3 soccer cleat. They feature a Flyknit upper as well as an offset lacing system for a larger striking surface. Interestingly, his boots are actually designed to be the 'Strikers Boot', making it not the usual choice of a midfielder.
