Manuel Neuer Offers First Look at Next-Gen Adidas Gloves

This week in training, Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer was spotted wearing a pair of blacked-out gloves. Today, we can reveal that the legendary shot stopper was in fact trying out a prototype of the upcoming generation of Adidas Ace Trans Ultimate model.

Despite their tonal look, we can spot a stripe design that covers the finger part of the gloves worn by Neuer. In fact, it is even more visible on the actual colorway, which you can see below, with the design drawing inspiration from the unique construction of the Adidas Nemeziz 17, a new football boot model from the three-stripe brand.

Mainly a style update that adjusts the look to resemble that of the totally new soccer cleat silo that is the Nemeziz 17, the Adidas Ace Trans Ultimate 17-18 gloves are identical to the current model in terms of features and materials.

The very first Adidas Ace Trans Ultimate gloves of this new generation will be released in an black, white and yellow colorway that features a similar style as the Adidas Ace from the Dust Storm collection (June 1). They retail at $180.
