Adidas To Bring Back First-Gen Gloro Permanently
We can reveal that yesterday's surprise launch of a new Adidas Gloro 15.1 boot colorway was no one-off affair. The Three Stripes have more Gloro 15.1 releases waiting in-line, confirming that the tongue is here to stay.
Adidas Gloro 15.1 - The Tongue is Here to Stay
Adidas released the all-new Gloro soccer cleat in March 2015. Marketed under the slogan "the tongue is back", the Gloro was a hit amongst the more traditional football boot lovers. However, those fans turned on Adidas after the company launched the second generation of the Gloro, which didn't have a fold-over tongue, in December 2015.
Whether Adidas reacted to those opinions, or to continue releasing Gloro 15.1 updates was the brand's plan all along, doesn't really matter now and everybody will be pleased to have yet another choice in terms of football boots.
Unchanged in their technical specifications, the new color updates for the first-generation Adidas Gloro boots will be released throughout the year, offering a reliable supply to those who prefer a fold-over tongue. The next Adidas Gloro 15.1 2016 release is already scheduled for early March and will cost just £80.
