Adidas is Back at Old Trafford

Adidas is officially back at The Theatre of Dreams. The Swoosh has been replaced with the Adidas logo, and the Manchester United Megastore at Old Trafford has been transformed to Adidas.

It's the first time since 2012 that the Swoosh was removed from the East Stand of Old Trafford. While the Swoosh had been disguised for a short period during the London 2012 Olympics, Nike's well-know logo will not come back in the next years. So let's take a look at the re-designed Old Trafford.

Old Trafford Rebranding Completed

The East Stand of Old Trafford now features the famous Three Stripes branding.

The East Stand of Old Trafford now boasts the Three Stripes logo, and Manchester United also replaced every Swoosh in the stadium with the Three Stripes branding.

But Old Trafford's East Stand isn't just about the seats. It's also the home of the world-renowned Manchester United Megastore. The Manchester United Megastore re-opened at one minute before 9am this morning featuring hundreds of Adidas Manchester United Home Kits, and the Di Maria Kit is also sold in the store despite the fact that the winger is set to join PSG.

The Adidas Manchester United Home Kit will be debuted in the match against Tottenham on August 8. It will be the first time that the Red Devils wear their Adidas Kits after they played their last pre-season match against Paris Saint-Germain wearing the old Nike Manchester United Kit.

Nike is history now! Adidas is back, but for us it's still quite unusual to see the Three Stripes at Old Trafford.
