Nike is the new Eintracht Frankfurt Kit Supplier

  • New Kit Supplier: Eintracht Frankfurt has signed a deal with Nike to be their new kit supplier, ending their eleven-year partnership with Jako.
  • Contract Details: The Nike contract is reportedly worth around 3 million Euro per year, including 1 million Euro in equipment for all Eintracht Frankfurt teams.
  • Kit Design: Eintracht Frankfurt is expected to use the Nike Inter Stripe IV design for their 2014-15 kit, which is a standard, vertical striped design.

Last week Eintracht Frankfurt announced that they signed a contract with the US giant Nike after eleven years with the German kit manufacture Jako. In fact, the deal with Nike was announced on January 24, even there were first rumors about the upcoming deal in August 2013. The new Eintracht Frankfurt 14-15 Kits are set to be released in June 2014.

Eintracht Frankfurt Nike Kit Deal Details

Even the figures were not confirmed by the club, it is reported that the Eintracht Frankfurt Nike Kit Contract is worth around 3 million Euro / year. This includes also the payment in kind of approximately 1 million Euro for the equipment of the first team and all other Eintracht Frankfurt youth teams.

Eintracht Frankfurt, currently 14th in German Bundesliga, joins various first division German clubs sponsored by Nike: Werder Bremen, Hertha BSC Berlin, FSV Mainz, Eintracht Braunschweig and SC Freiburg.

It is expected that Eintracht Frankfurt will get the Nike Inter Stripe IV for the 2014-15 kit. It is the only vertical striped jersey and as seen several times in the past Nike provides even well known teams like Athletic Bilbao a standard teamwear kit in the first season as kit supplier.
