Sizing Issues Emerge With New Adidas 26-27 Player Issue Kits
25-26 vs 26-27 Liverpool authentic kits - Size M.
We already reported on Liverpool's extremely large shirts, but we just guessed from the images. Now, Liverpool fan and Footy Headlines follower benjaminlfc directly compared the 25-26 and 26-27 authentic kits, showing off that the new authentic jerseys are running significantly larger than in previous seasons.
A side-by-side comparison of two size M shirts clearly demonstrates that the newly launched 26-27 template features a much looser, baggier fit overall, despite carrying the exact same size label as last year's tailored iterations
This sizing discrepancy isn't just affecting supporters who purchase the premium authentic shirts; it is also impacting the professionals on the pitch. During Liverpool's recent match against Brentford, several star players appeared to struggle with the unexpectedly oversized fit of their new kits. Mohamed Salah was seen awkwardly rolling up the excessively wide sleeves of his short-sleeved jersey, while the long-sleeved versions worn by Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai were noticeably bunching up and hanging loosely around their wrists, lacking the streamlined athletic fit usually associated with elite player-issue gear.
It currently remains unclear whether this baggier silhouette is an intentional design shift by Adidas for the upcoming campaign or a widespread manufacturing error across their 26-27 authentic production line. Adidas' website lists the sizing the exact same for the 25-26 and 26-27 kits - the reality is different.

Neymar to Retain Brazil No. 10 Shirt for 2026 World Cup
The debate over Brazil’s most iconic shirt number has been officially settled ahead of the 2026 World Cup. It has been confirmed that Neymar will retain the famous No. 10 jersey for the upcoming tournament in North America.
Following a lengthy period away from the national team due to injury, questions had naturally arisen regarding the future of the prestigious shirt. During Neymar's prolonged absence, the Brazilian No. 10 was shared among the squad's other attacking stars. Both Vinicius Junior and Raphinha have donned the historic number in recent international fixtures.
Despite their growing influence and status within the Seleção, both players have willingly stepped aside out of respect for the veteran forward. Highlighting the squad's unity on the matter, Vinicius Junior openly addressed the situation, stating clearly that the shirt "obviously belongs to Neymar."
Earlier rumors suggested that Neymar might adopt the No. 13 jersey.
Do you agree with the decision to keep Neymar in the No. 10 shirt, or was it time to pass it on to a younger player like Vinicius Junior? Let us know in the comments below.

Liverpool 26-27 Home Kit Water Bottle Released
The official Liverpool FC online store has released an interesting "LFC 26/27 Home Water Bottle".
The design of the water bottle mirrors the home kit. The front of the bottle also displays the Liverbird crest and the current Standard Chartered sponsor logo - however, it lacks the Adidas logo and looks very offset. They should have placed logos differently...
The text "Liverpool FC 26-27" is printed on the bottle in the new official Liverpool font.
