Apr 15, 2026: No More Reebok: Botafogo to Announce Mizuno Kit Deal Soon

A major kit supplier switch is reportedly on the horizon in Brazilian football. Botafogo to Announce Mizuno Kit Deal Soon

The current partnership between Botafogo and Reebok has been in place for the last three years. Originally, this contract was scheduled to expire in August of this year. However, reports indicate that this agreement will actually be terminated two months early, officially coming to an end in June.

This premature exit will officially close the chapter on the Reebok era for the Glorioso.

To replace Reebok, Botafogo has secured a long-term agreement with Mizuno.

The new contract between Botafogo and the Japanese sportswear brand is reportedly set to run until the end of 2029.

Just like their current arrangement with Reebok, Botafogo will reportedly retain complete freedom over the design process for their entire clothing line. All kit and apparel designs will continue to be created in-house by the club itself, with Mizuno stepping in to manufacture and supply the final products.

The official announcement of this new partnership is expected to be made by the club before the end of this month (April 2026).
