Update: After four consecutive seasons of utilizing the exact same typography, Liverpool has finally shaken things up by releasing an all-new bespoke kit font for the upcoming 2026-2027 season.
Liverpool 26-27 Kit Font
The new Liverpool 26-27 kit font introduces a significant stylistic departure from the blocky, squared-off look the club used from the 2022 to 2026 seasons.
The updated typography features a much more elegant, classic, serif-inspired aesthetic, which perfectly complements the retro, 1989-1991 inspired design of their newly released Adidas home shirt.
The numbers feature sharp edges with distinctive inner line detailing, complete with the iconic Liverbird logo subtly placed at the bottom.
Meanwhile, the player names are rendered in a refined, stylized typeface that stands out clearly against the busy geometric pattern of the jersey, as seen on the kits of players like Mac Allister, Virgil, and Wirtz.
The new Liverpool 26-27 kit font is priced at £16. This brings the total cost of a fully customized authentic 26-27 home shirt to £136 (£120 for the base authentic jersey plus £16 for the official font application).
