FC Barcelona star Pedri has officially become the newest ambassador for Decathlon's "Made to Play" campaign, aligning himself with the retailer's Segunda Vida (Second Life) initiative that promotes the circulation and reuse of sporting equipment.

Pedri Joins Decathlon's Sustainability Initiative While Maintaining Adidas Partnership
The 22-year-old midfielder, who continues his sponsorship deal with Adidas, will help promote Decathlon's vision of extending the lifecycle of sports gear by buying and selling used equipment rather than discarding it.
"When a lot of people follow you, you have a huge social responsibility," Pedri stated regarding his decision to join the campaign. "Everything we do and say has a huge impact, and that's why for me, supporting initiatives like this is very rewarding and important."
The Spanish international shared insights into his own sustainability practices, explaining: "I'm trying not to throw anything away. I'm giving clothes that I no longer use or sports equipment to my family or friends. We have to allow what we no longer use to be reused by others."

Unlike Griezmann, Pedri will not wear Decathlon football boots and other products but will remain with Adidas. Pedri's involvement with Decathlon does not conflict with his ongoing sponsorship arrangement with Adidas, which remains his official technical sponsor and footwear provider.
