The AC Milan 25-26 away jersey combines a white base with black and red applications, the traditional colors of Milan away shirts. However, while the color combo is traditional, the whole kit is not.

The design of the new Milan 25-26 away jersey is inspired by the club's 1981-82 away shirt. That season marks one of the darkest periods for the Rossoneri: after being promoted back to Serie A following the Totonero match-fixing scandal relegation, Milan endured a disastrous campaign and were relegated to Serie B for the second time.
