Mainz 2025 120th Anniversary Kit Released
- Anniversary: Mainz 05 launched a special kit to celebrate their 120th anniversary on March 16, 2025.

On 16 March, Mainz 05 will celebrate its 120th anniversary (16 March 1905 - 16 March 2025), and the club will launch a special shirt to mark the occasion.

The 1. FSV Mainz 05 2025 120-year anniversary shirt is predominantly white with a red sash stripe running from top right to bottom left. The design is inspired by their 1911 kit.
The Kömmerling sponsor is reduced in size and placed just below the Jako logo to enhance the aesthetics of Mainz's new 2025 120-year anniversary shirt.
The most distinctive feature of 1. FSV Mainz 05's 2025 120-year anniversary football shirt is that Jako uses the "Wheel of Mainz" logo instead of the current Mainz 05 logo. It is combined with a polo collar for a classic look.
The wheel symbol (known as the "Mainzer Rad" or "Wheel of Mainz") is a historical symbol of the city of Mainz, Germany. It is derived from the city's coat of arms and has been incorporated into the club's visual identity.
The collar has the words MCMV - MMXXV in Roman numerals, meaning 1905-2025.
