Finland and Nike Extend Partnership Until 2030, But Will We Finally See New Finland Kits?
- Partnership Extension: Finland and Nike have extended their technical partnership until 2030, continuing a collaboration that began in 2014.
- Kit Drought: Finland hasn't received new Nike kits in the past three years, leading to speculation about potential new releases, especially with new women's national team kits on the way.
- Expanded Scope: The agreement expands beyond national team kits to include referee equipment for national leagues and official match balls for key domestic competitions.
The Finnish Football Association has announced a comprehensive extension of their technical partnership with Nike through 2030, expanding the scope of their collaboration that began in 2014.
Nike x Finland Extend Deal Until 2030
Curiously, the Nike Finland kit partnership has notably seen no new kit releases in the past three years. It seems very well possible that Finland will launch new kits soon, especially since new Nike women's national team kits are on the way.
Nike released new Finland kits for the last time in 2022. In 2024, unlike ALL? other Nike national teams, Finland did not receive a new kit.
Finland 2022 Home & Away Kits Released - Stunning Custom Graphics
The Nike Finland 2022 home shirt were not 100% bespoke but based on standard Nike teamwear. It remains to be seen if Finland will get 100% bespoke kits from the Nike HQ now - we do not think so.

Under the new agreement, Nike will continue as the official equipment supplier for all Finnish national teams, including the men's national team (Huuhkajat). The partnership has been significantly expanded to include referee equipment for national leagues and, for the first time, official match balls for the National League, First League, and Finnish Cup finals.
"We are very pleased to continue our cooperation with Nike," said Kalle Marttinen, Head of Event Operations at the Finnish Football Association. "Nike is one of the world's best-known and most respected sports equipment brands, and its expertise ensures top quality equipment for our national teams."
David Nordbeck, Team Sales Manager for Nike Nordics, emphasized the shared values between the organizations: "We at Nike are extremely proud to continue our cooperation! We share the same values and believe in the power of sport to change the world. There are more active players in Finland than ever before, and this partnership will help make sport even more accessible to everyone."
Finland only has had two different kit makers in its history - Adidas and Nike.
