The first detailed information about a special FC Barcelona fourth jersey for the 2025-26 season has been leaked. Marketed as an "EL CLÁSICO" kit, this new fourth shirt replaces the Senyera design and is inspired by one of the club's most iconic victories against Real Madrid. However, initial reactions to the design suggest it may be highly divisive.

The Nike FC Barcelona 2025-2026 'El Clásico' fourth shirt will mark a significant change in the club's kit lineup. For the first time, Barça will have a jersey specifically branded for their clashes with Real Madrid.

The Inspiration: Ronaldinho's Masterclass

According to Barça kit insider @memorabilia1899, the jersey is directly inspired by the legendary La Liga match on November 19, 2005, when Barcelona triumphed 3-0 at the Santiago Bernabéu.

That night, Ronaldinho "stole the show with two breathtaking goals in the 58th and 77th minutes," earning a rare standing ovation from the home Real Madrid fans for his mesmerizing performance. Samuel Eto'o had opened the scoring in the 14th minute. As a timeless tribute, the jersey will have the minutes of each goal – [ 14 - 58 - 77 ] – woven into the design as a core element.

A "Shocking" Design?

While the inspiration is legendary, the kit's actual design may prove controversial. Fellow Barcelona page @_BarcaInfo, who claims to have seen the kit, shared his shocking first impression: "My eyes were shocked, and it's hard to say it was a positive shock. I have no idea who came up with the idea to design a jersey in this style, but it's tough to look at. [...] the overall design is HEAVY - that's exactly how it feels."

Despite the negative reaction to the overall look, he did confirm that the jersey will be in FC Barcelona's colors and features "a really cool detail," which almost certainly refers to the goal-minute tribute.

Kit Colors & Details

The Nike Barça 2025-2026 fourth shirt will combine Gym Blue, Salsa Red, and Opti Yellow. These are traditional club colors, though the Opti Yellow is described as more vibrant than usual.

While the full jersey design is still under wraps, initial information reveals that the accompanying shorts will be red and the socks will be predominantly blue with a unique stripes design, which may also feature on the shirt itself.

This new El Clásico jersey marks the end of Barcelona's use of the La Senyera design as its regular fourth kit after three consecutive seasons. According to @memorabilia1899, the Catalan flag design will not be completely abandoned but will now be reserved for "exceptional circumstances only," suggesting it may still appear in a match if the situation calls for it.

The Nike Barça 25-26 fourth shirt will likely be released in late 2025, ahead of the first El Clásico of the season. It completes the club's 2025-2026 kit set, which includes the home, away and third kits.
