Unique Genoa 24-25 Squid Game Pre-Match Jacket Revealed
Genoa CFC has announced an exciting new partnership with Netflix to celebrate the release of the second season of Squid Game. The partnership will be seen during Genoa's clash against resigning champions Napoli on December 26, 2024, marking the launch of Squid Game 2, which premieres on the same day on Netflix.
Genoa 2024-25 Squid Game Pre-Match Jacket
The Genoa Squid Game pre-match jacket is very different to usual pre-match jackets worn by football clubs. It mirrors the look of the iconic green Squid Game jacket, which each player's number on the left chest.
In a promotional campaign released ahead of the event, Genoa stars Mario Balotelli, Morten Frendrup, Pierluigi Gollini, and Johan Vásquez can be seen wearing the jacket on a Squid Game-inspired set.
Genoa Kits Featuring Squid Game Branding vs Napoli
The collaboration extends to Genoa’s official matchday kits, which will feature Squid Game 2 branding as the lower front sponsor and Netflix logos on the sleeves.
Genoa 24-25 Third Kit
Oddly, Genoa will wear its black and gold third kit instead of the home kit. However, wearing not the home kit at home is often done by Serie A clubs.
