Adidas to Use Trefoil Logo for 2026 World Cup Away Kits
Adidas will use the Trefoil logo instead of the Adidas Performance logo on the national teams' 2026 World Cup away jerseys. Meanwhile, as usual, the home jerseys will still feature the Adidas Performance logo.
Given the recent success of the Trefoil logo, using it on the 2026 World Cup away kit would certainly excite fans, create a buzz for Adidas and boost sales.
The 24-25 season has marked a strong return of the Trefoil logo as Adidas has used it on the 24-25 elite club third kits.
The success is not just in words, an Adidas report said that apparel sales increased by 5%, mainly due to strong double-digit growth in football. In particular, the Juventus 24-25 third kit was totally sold out.
Following the resounding success of the 24-25 season, Adidas will continue to use the Trefoil logo on the third jersey of the 25-26 elite teams (the list of elite teams has been expanded to 10 teams for the 25-26 season).
