In early September 2024, the insurance companies Barmenia and Gothaer officially merged to form the BarmeniaGothaer Group. The brand identity of the BarmeniaGothaer brand was also presented. As a result, Bayer Leverkusen will not only have a new shirt supplier for the 25-26 season, but will also have a new Barmenia sponsor logo.

This logo change will be implemented on the Bayer Leverkusen shirt, of which Barmenia has been the main sponsor for many years. It will come into effect from the 25-26 season.
