Wrong Juventus Logo Still Used by Many
In 2017, Juventus launched a fresh, minimalist logo featuring a simple double "J" with the word "Juventus" placed above it. This redesign was a bold shift from its traditional logo, emphasizing a sleek and modern brand identity.
However, in 2020, Juventus decided to streamline its logo even further by removing the "Juventus" text, leaving just the double "J." However, many have not registered the last update in 2020.

Many people and entities have not realized the removal of the Juventus text and still use the older version of the Juventus logo. This includes Manchester City, which is using the old Juventus logo in its promotional graphics for the 2024-25 UEFA Champions League campaign. It's surprising to see such a prominent team overlook the 2020 update, especially for a high-profile competition like the UCL.

Wrong Juventus Logo Used by Manchester City for 24-25 Champions League Graphics
The issue extends beyond Manchester City, of course. Many streamers and organizations across various platforms continue to use the outdated Juventus logo. It seems that everyone has not fully embraced the transition to just the double "J" without the Juventus text.
Correct 24-25 Champions League Logos
UEFA, of course, has the full correct logos for all teams in the 2024-2025 season.
The problem with the Juventus logo update is that it went under the radar, as the club did not officially announce it back then. When searching for the Juventus logo on Google, the image search prominently shows the wrong logo.

A similar case is unfolding with Liverpool FC, although with a slightly different focus. Liverpool announced that for the current 24-25 season, the simple Liverbird will become the main logo for all digital channels.
While Liverpool's full crest is still used in official capacities, the club wants everyone to use the Liver Bird emblem for digital platforms. However, the full crest is still used by independent media for digital images - it isn't totally incorrect, and many actually would prefer Liverpool to use the full logo again.
