Stuttgart Announces New Main Shirt Sponsor For 25-26 Season
The German Bundesliga club Stuttgart has announced its new shirt sponsor early. Regional German bank LBBW will become the main sponsor of VfB Stuttgart's professional football team starting from the 2025-2026 season.
This season, the club is still sponsored by French betting provider Winamax. Fans have criticized the club for this collaboration. Stuttgart announced in July that it would be terminating the contract, which originally ran until 2026, one year early.
Local Bank LBBW to Be Stuttgart's Main Sponsor From 2025-2026 Season
LBBW has already been featured on the jerseys of VfB Stuttgart's youth teams since August. The bank has been a partner of the club since the current season, supporting the 3rd division team and all teams in the club's youth training center.
LBBW pays around 8 million Euro/year, with the deal valid three years
The financial details of the cooperation have not been disclosed, but according to Stuttgarter Nachrichten, LBBW pays around 8 million Euro/year. The deal will run for three years - 2025-2026, 2026-2027 & 2027-2028.
Stuttgart 24-25 Champions League Home Kit
Stuttgart will also release a special 2024-2025 Champions League home football shirt. There is still a small chance that it will feature the LBBW logo, but it is possibly only for the Youth League.
