Hoffenheim 125th Anniversary Kit Teased

As announced earlier this summer, Bundesliga club Hoffenheim will release a special-edition kit to celebrate the club's 125th anniversary.

The shirt will be worn in the game against Werder Bremen on September 29 and is part of a broader anniversary collection that will be available to buy.

Originally founded in 1899 as a gymnastics club, Hoffenheim was re-established in its modern form in 1945. In 2000, the club was in the fifth division, but it rapidly ascended through the German football league system thanks to the financial support of alumnus and software magnate Dietmar Hopp. This backing culminated in Hoffenheim's promotion to the Bundesliga, the top tier of German football, in 2008.

The Joma TSG Hoffenheim 125th Anniversary football shirt is predominantly blue with a special club crest on the left chest. This crest adds the number 125 at the top as well as a laurel wreath underneath.

Not much else can be said about the design of the Joma Hoffenheim 125th Anniversary football shirt based on the two close-ups released by the club, but everything points at a rather clean overall look.

The Hoffenheim Anniversary jersey will be unveiled on September 23.
