Aberdeen 24-25 Third Kit Released - 'Granite Kit'
Aberdeen FC has officially launched its 2024-25 Third Kit. Called the 'Granite Kit,' it pays homage to the iconic grey granite that has long defined the city's architecture and landscape.
Aberdeen is known as the "Granite City"
Aberdeen is known as the "Granite City" because of the extensive use of locally quarried grey granite in the construction of many of its buildings. The granite from Aberdeen, especially from nearby Rubislaw Quarry, was prized for its durability, strength, and polished finish, making it a popular building material during the 18th and 19th centuries. As a result, much of Aberdeen’s architecture, including public buildings, monuments, and homes, features this distinctive stone.

This is the Aberdeen 2024-2025 third jersey, made by Adidas.
The Adidas Aberdeen 2024-25 third shirt has an unusual color combo - it combines a granite main color with dark gray applications and logos. Unfortunately, for us, the Adidas Aberdeen F.C. 2024-25 third football shirt lacks the team's classic red and white colors altogether.
The Adidas Aberdeen 2024-25 third jersey also features the famous classic AFC crest, evoking memories of the club’s domestic and European success in the 1980s.
