Al-Nassr Wears Temporary Adidas Teamwear Kits
Update: Al-Nassr wore a white temporary teamwear kit in its friendly vs Porto some days ago. Cristiano Ronaldo has now returned to the club, wearing the new Adidas training wear. It is still unlikely that Al-Nassr will wear its bespoke Adidas 24-25 home kit vs Granada this evening as Cristiano Ronaldo will not play against Granada, but only play against Almeria on 8 August 2024.
Al Nassr, the financially strong Saudi Arabian football club, has switched its kit supplier from Nike to Adidas for the 2024-2025 season. However, despite the deal already having started, the club does not wear its bespoke Adidas 24-25 kit yet.
Al-Nassr Wears Yellow & Black Adidas Tiro 23 Teamwear Kit in Pre-Season
The new Adidas Al-Nassr kits have been ready since at least May, with a photoshoot having taken place then; still, the team has been seen wearing a temporary kit from Adidas. This interim kit, known as Tiro 23, is a standard teamwear model with a retail price of €30.
It is unusual for a professional football team to wear temporary kits. However, this isn't entirely unprecedented; Aston Villa also wore a temporary kit during this pre-season. The reasons for such occurrences can vary, including delays in the production or delivery of the official kits, contractual obligations, or marketing strategies.
