Exclusive: Ajax 2025 125-Year Anniversary Kit Info Leaked + Prediction
- Anniversary Kit Launch: Ajax will release a 125-year anniversary kit in March 2025, honoring both the club's 125th anniversary and Amsterdam's 750th anniversary.
- Kit Design Elements: The anniversary kit will have a retro off-white and red design, featuring Amsterdam's flag/weapon instead of the Ajax crest on the left chest.
- Special Commemorative Kit: A special commemorative kit will be worn against AZ Alkmaar on March 16, with the launch on March 14 to honor Johan Cruijff, and incorporating Amsterdam's coat of arms.
Update: According to insider information shared with us, AFC Ajax will wear its special 125-year commemorative kit when they face AZ Alkmaar on Sunday, March 16. The launch will be two days earlier, Friday, 14 March - this celebrates club legend Johan Cruijff, who wore number 14.
We also have been told that the kit incorporates Amsterdam's coat of arms as a special badge, possibly on the sleeve (or even on the front, but that's unlikely as per our info). The Amsterdam city coat of arms features a characteristic shield with three white Xs on a black vertical band, flanked by two golden lions.
Ajax and Adidas are preparing to release an anniversary kit in 2025. Now, Footy Headlines can leak more concrete information. The Adidas Ajax 2025 anniversary kit will honor the 125th anniversary of Ajax (founded in 1900) and 750 years of Amsterdam (founded in 1275).

The Adidas Ajax 2025 125-year anniversary football shirt has a simple retro look in off-white and red.
Adidas probably uses the classic Trefoil logo. The left chest won’t feature an Ajax crest but instead will prominently display the flag/weapon of Amsterdam.
